Pazoo, a young boy working as an apprentice mechanic in a mining town, dreams of visiting Laputa, a legendary island in the sky. One day, he meets a mysterious girl named Sita who falls from the sky, and the two become entangled in a battle over a mysterious “flying stone” worn by Sita, which is fought by the special forces and army led by the ruthless Colonel Musca, and by the female leader Dora and her family of sky pirates, and they end up going to Laputa in the sky. The film is a short, but very funny, story of a young boy and his family who are trying to find their way to the sky.
